How to use the tally bill format
- Enter your company name, address and GSTIN, as in your Tally company master.
- Add the buyer with GSTIN, and put the buyer's order and dispatch details in the notes.
- List items with HSN, quantity, rate and GST; tax is worked out on each line.
- Add the declaration and jurisdiction in the terms, then save.
The Tally-style bill, section by section

Worked example
An Indore electrical wholesaler bills a Bhopal contractor for 20 coils of 1.5 sq mm wire at ₹1,450, 200 modular switches at ₹38 and 50 MCBs at ₹185. Taxable value ₹45,850. Both are in Madhya Pradesh, so the bill shows CGST at 9% of ₹4,126.50 and SGST at 9% of ₹4,126.50, total ₹54,103.
