The Purchasing module is being built. It will cover buying end to end: order from a vendor, receive the goods, record the bill and pay it, with each step posted to the same books as your sales.

Order on your terms
Purchase orders will carry your prices, quantities, delivery dates and terms, in the vendor's currency.
Pay only for what arrived
Vendor bills will be matched against the purchase order and what you received, so differences show up before you pay.
See spending as it happens
Expenses will be recorded with their receipts and categories, alongside vendor bills, not in a separate spreadsheet.
Keep a record of every payout
Payments to vendors will be recorded against their bills and posted to your books, so what you owe is always current.
From first step to everyday use
- Purchasing is in progress. Today, the Sales module (quotes, invoices, proforma invoices, receipts, credit notes, payment links and reminders), client records and the API and MCP server are live.
- You will add vendors once, with their tax IDs and payment details, and ask several of them to quote.
- You will raise a purchase order, record what was received, then record the vendor bill against it.
- You will record the payout, which posts to your books and clears the bill.
Purchasing for your AI agent
When Purchasing ships, the same API and MCP rules will apply as everywhere in LuckPanda: an agent will be able to draft purchase orders, read vendor bills and propose matches between bills and orders. Approving, posting and paying stay with a person.

Questions
Can I use Purchasing today?
Not yet. It is being built and no date is promised. Sales, client records and the API are live now.
Will bills handle input tax?
Yes. Bills will carry a tax rate per line, so tax paid on purchases can be reported. India GST return preparation belongs to the Compliance module.
Will LuckPanda move money to vendors?
The first version will record payments you make. Whether payouts can also be sent through a bank or payment provider is not decided. Agents will never pay.
How will Purchasing be priced?
Like every module: per module per month, with no per-user fee. Drafting and creating data stays free.
