What payments will do
- Will list every payment received, with client, amount, currency and reference.
- Will apply one payment across several invoices, oldest first or as you choose.
- Will record bank fees and tax withheld by the client.
- Will keep overpayments as an advance for later invoices.

Can I record payments today?
Yes, on the invoice in Sales. A full or part payment updates the invoice status and posts to your books.
Can an agent record a payment?
No. Recording payments stays with a person.
