What sales orders will do
- Will confirm an order with lines, quantities, prices and tax, in the client's currency.
- Will invoice an order in full or in parts, linking each invoice back to the order.
- Will show which orders are open, part invoiced or complete.
- Will reserve stock against an order once the Inventory module is available.
Questions
Can I create sales orders today?
Not yet. Quotes and invoices are live now; sales orders are being built.
Will a sales order post to my books?
No. A sales order is a commitment, not a sale. The invoice is what posts.
