How to write a holiday message to customers

A good holiday message to customers is short, uses the greeting people in that country actually use, and thanks them before it sells anything. Add an offer or your holiday hours only if you have them, stated exactly. Check this year's date before you mention it, because many festivals move every year. When your customers celebrate different festivals, "Happy holidays" includes everyone.

  1. Choose the country and occasionThe occasions most asked for in that country come first; every other occasion is still in the list below them.

Respectful and inclusive greetings

  • Use the greeting the festival's own community uses, and spell it correctly.
  • If your customers celebrate different festivals, greet each one in its own season, or use "Happy holidays" or "Season's greetings".
  • During Ramadan, a message about changed hours or an evening offer is often more useful than a daytime food promotion.
  • Día de Muertos remembers people who have died: keep the tone warm and respectful.
  • Use religious symbols only when you understand them. When unsure, leave them out.
  • Thank customers first, then make the offer. Send only to people who agreed to hear from you, and not late at night.

Your festive offer brings visitors: let an AI sales agent answer them

A greeting with an offer sends people to your website with questions: what is in the offer, delivery before the festival, which product suits them.

A LuckPanda sales agent answers those visitors from your own pages, recommends from the products and offers you list, with the exact link as a button, and offers your main call to action, such as buying or booking, when they are ready. When a visitor leaves an email or phone number and wants to buy, it saves them as a lead.

Questions people ask

What is a good holiday message to customers?

Two to four short lines: the greeting people use for the occasion, a thank-you for their custom, and, only if you have one, an offer or your holiday hours. Sign it with your business name.

How do I wish customers a happy Diwali?

Start with "Happy Diwali", wish them and their family joy and prosperity, thank them, and add an offer or your hours if you have them. On WhatsApp, keep it to a few lines.

What should I write to customers who do not celebrate Christmas?

"Happy holidays" or "Season's greetings" includes everyone. Thank them for the year and give your holiday hours.

Can I write festival wishes in Hindi or Hinglish?

Yes. Choose Hindi for Devanagari script, or Hinglish for Hindi in English letters, as many customers in India type on WhatsApp.

Does the tool know this year's festival dates?

No. Many festivals move every year, so it never states a date. Where a date is needed it writes [date] for you to fill.

For AI agents

Build it with your AI agent

Give an agent your site and it can create the chatbot, read your pages and test it through LuckPanda's API and MCP. It prepares the work; going live stays with you.

Use LuckPanda's MCP server (https://luckpanda.app/mcp) to build a website chatbot for me. Ask for my website address, call chatbot_create_from_website with it, wait until the pages are learned (chatbot_source_list), then run a few test questions with chatbot_test_message and show me the answers. Do not put it live: I will do that myself.

Instructions for AI agents

Needs a LuckPanda agent key (Settings › Developers) with the chatbot.manage grant. MCP endpoint: https://luckpanda.app/mcp (Streamable HTTP, bearer key).

  • chatbot_create_from_website { url }: creates a draft chatbot named after the site and starts reading it.
  • chatbot_source_list: pages learned, failed or skipped, with a reason for each.
  • chatbot_test_message: asks the bot a question as the owner. Test chats never email anyone.
  • Going live (chatbot_update with status live) is a person's action; an agent gets APPROVAL_REQUIRED.

Try it on your website

Paste your address and watch the chatbot learn your pages. No account and no card.
